Call to Worship One: The foolish may declare, there is no God.

All: We come trusting in Christ, the face, the voice, the presence of God who loves us.

One: Scoffers will ask you, why do you seek after God?

All: We come because God’s grace has spilled over into our lives, and provided a needed strength for the journey.

One: The hopeless think no one cares about them and struggle to find their way.

All: We come in this time and this place because in this community we have found a home.

The Unison Prayer All: The heavens keep telling of Your glory, O God, and the skies declare what You have done. Each day informs O Lord, our Rock, we stand upon you alone, and upon no other. Build our faith into a house made of living stones. We offer these prayers of compassion for our families and friends. Teach us anew that the foundation of life is love for you and for neighbor. We pray for the community in which we live and work and learn. Offer us, O God, opportunity to be of service to someone in need. Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with us, today. In Christ the solid rock we pray. Amen.
