The death of someone close to you changes your life completely. Nothing is the same. Grieving that person's death is difficult work. The GriefShare program has helped hundreds of people cope with the many aspects of grieving.
Grief Share is a non-denominational program that will be offered at First United Methodist Church, 1200 South St., Castle Rock on Monday afternoons from 2:00-3:00 pm beginning Monday, November 11.
Charlene Smythe will be the facilitator for the 13 week video program. It will be held in the church library. We will look for people to assist those who may need transportation. Charlene is a Retired United Methodist Pastor and she has facilitated Grief Share in the past. She has also been a Stephen Minister and Stephen Leader.
Each participant will need to purchase a workbook at a cost of $20.00. (There is scholarship options available.) The program will continue into the new year with a few weeks off for holidays.
