Prelude Pat Hammond

Welcome & Greeting Rev. Matt Franks

Hymn : Here I Am To Worship

1. Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness,

opened my eyes, let me see

beauty that makes this heart adore You

Hope of a life spent with You.

2. King of all days, so highly exalted,

glorious in heaven above.

Humbly You came to the earth You created

all for love's sake became poor.

3. I'll never know how much it cost

to see my sin upon that cross.

I'll never know how much it cost

to see my sin upon that cross.

Refrain:

Oh, here I am to to worship, here I am to bow down

here I am to say that You're my God.

You're altogether lovely, altogether worthy,

altogether wonderful to me.

Call To Worship Liturgist

One: People of God. God’s radical hospitality is expressed to all through Grace.

All: And our hospitality to God is accepting that grace and the life time of growth that comes with it.

One: Let us hear the call in our lives to fully accept the radical hospitality that has been offered to us with love.

All: May we no longer close the door on God’s Grace and what is most needed in our lives.

One: Accept that you have been accepted.

All: Let the door we open in this time together begin the transforming work in our lives.

Hymn: Open The Eyes Of My Heart

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord Open the eyes of my heart I want to see You, I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see You, I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up, shining in the light of Your glory, Pour out Your power and love, as we sing "Holy, Holy, Holy"

To see You high and lifted up, shining in the light of Your glory, Pour out Your power and love, as we sing "Holy, Holy, Holy"

(2x’s) Holy, holy, holy, Holy, holy, holy, Holy, holy, holy

I want to see You

(2x’s) Open the eyes of my heart, Lord Open the eyes of my heart I want to see You, I want to see You

Congregational Prayer Rev. Sarah Steidtmann

All: Gentle...yet powerful. Lowly...yet almighty.

Shepherd...yet King. In your gentleness, guide us. In your power, strengthen us. In your lowliness, strip from us our selfish pride which only destroys us. In your greatness, lift us up that we might aspire to greater things. As a shepherd, call us to be your servants. O Spirit, who comforts and empowers, come and set us free.

The Pastoral Prayer Rev. Sarah Steidtmann

The Lord’s Prayer found in the UMH 895

All: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Hymn # 378 Amazing Grace

1.Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found; was blind but now I see.

2. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear

the hour I first believed!

3.Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come. 'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,

and grace will lead me home.

Opening Music

Welcome and Greeting

Our Mission is to share the light and love of God within our community and beyond. One of the ways we live into our mission is that in worship we connect to one another and to how God is speaking to us through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Let us connect to one another by greeting each other.
