Majesty, Worship His Majesty

Call To Worship Rev. Sarah Steidtmann

One: Are father who art in heaven, as we gather today, we call out to you.

All: Our Father, who art in Heaven…

One: As we gather today, we lift up who you are and what you represent to our hearts.

All: Hallowed be your name.

One: As we gather today, We seek your ways, not our own for the day ahead.

All: Your Kingdom come, your will be done in our world today…

One: As we gather to worship together, we say sorry to you and one another.

All: Forgive us as we forgive…

One: As we gather today, we need your presence in our life. Come and be the body of Christ.

All: Give us this day our daily bread. Lead us away from temptation

Deliver us from evil.

We Pray Together

Congregational Prayer Rev. Sarah Steidtmann

All: God, the encourager, God, the compassionate, God, the merciful, holy, blessed: Disturb us. Rouse us from our sleep. Lift us into consciousness of your presence. Change us, move us, mold us for the better; so that, at the sound of your voice, at the call of our name, we will never be the same. May our worship together do this and so much more.

Could a Bell Choir be in our future? Chancel Choir Director Nancy Docksey is inviting anyone interested in relaunching the bell choir to contact her in person at the 10:45 service welcome time or by phone or text (303-877-9085). Coffee Chat Tuesdays at the Phillip Miller Library in Castle Rock offer coffee, conversation, and games every Tuesday from 8 - 11 am in the Sue Meacham Reading Room for seniors and adults looking for socialization.

Grocery Story Card Update: Currently we have over 50 families participating in this program. We receive about $450/quarter from King Soopers. Check the welcome center for directions for signing up for the first time with them. The Safeway Cards are now available. Contact the church office to pick one up.. We have received approximately $250/quarter from Safeway. There is no dollar amount on them this time so folks will just pick up a card and head to Safeway to load the amount they choose to have on it . NOTE: You may use the money you have remaining on the old card, but you will not be able to reload it.

Backpack Ministry: Mike Vitek reports that our Mission Team has approved our Backpack Ministry for 2023. On Sunday, March 26th, the Mission Team will provide an opportunity for our Church family to participate in our backpack ministry program. Our backpack ministry program responds to Christ’s concern for prisoners (Matthew 25: 36, 39, 43). Our Church is the only organization that provides backpacks to indigent men and women being released from the Douglas County Correctional Facility. Look for full details in the March newsletter.
