NOTE:  We are looking for 10 host families to house 2 children and one adult on the nights of July 25 and 26. Please contact Theresa Kepple if you are able to host.

This choir is a remarkable musical ensemble from Uganda. The name "Imani Milele" translates to "Everlasting Faith" in Swahili, reflecting the choir's mission to bring hope, love, and faith to the lives of Uganda's orphaned and vulnerable children. Founded as a Christian organization, Imani Milele Children is dedicated to rescuing, educating, developing, and improving the lives of these children. The choir's repertoire includes praise, worship, dance, and well-crafted drum routines, providing audiences with an immersive experience.

Beyond the stage, the choir places a strong emphasis on education, ensuring that the children receive a well-rounded development. Overall, the Imani Milele Choir stands as a beacon of hope, using the power of music, education, and cultural exchange to spread the love of Christ, uplift the lives of Uganda's children, and inspire audiences worldwide.

Ice Cream Social Thank You from Lisa Andres and Rosie Andrade:

Congratulations to the Ice Cream Social contest winners!

Bonnie Thompson for her homemade strawberry ice cream!

Pat  Burcham for her dress ( made by her mother) and her hat!

A great big thank you to all who worked on set up on Saturday, to Pat Burcham and Diana Bramer for the lovely daisy arrangements (from Pat’s yard), to Kari Sorah for the interactive display of the Knot Again mission project, to Linda Pottenger for the star painting project, and to the hot dog grilled and servers, Ben Caramalla, Chuck Bailey, and Larry Pratt.  Thanks to the entire Sesquicentennial Committee for all their hard work! Thank you to the ice cream makers and servers. Thank you to all who attended and helped on clean up. You all contributed to the success of this event.

Birthday Bags:

In honor of all the special birthdays of our congregation, we are hosting a birthday bag drive for Help & Hope.

Help & Hope has a closet full of “birthday bags” that include birthday cake mix, icing, candles and an unwrapped gift. Families can come in and pick from these for their own children or if their kids get invited to a party and they can’t afford a gift, they can come in and pick a gift.

Spreading Gods love through loving and serving our neighbors in need! The birthday bags for us to pick up will be available from 7/14-7/28. Please pick up a bag, purchase the items on the “birthday bag” recipe card and return by 7/28.

Sesquicentennial Star Painting Project: Opportunities to participate in painting stars for the season of Advent and for the November Star Lighting Event in downtown Castle Rock will continue throughout the next few months. We hope to have 500+ stars featuring our church logo on one side and a bright color on the other. These stars will serve as a commemorative token of our Sesquicentennial Year.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study: will not meet in July, but will resume their study of Romans (picking up chapter 13) on August 6. New folks or drop-ins are always welcome.
