Prison Ministry Backpacks: This Sunday through March 23 you can still pick up a card to help fill the backpacks for the Douglas County Sheriff Detention Center or, if you don’t have time to shop for the items, please consider making a monetary donation.  All donations help with the purchase of backpacks as well what is placed inside them, including grocery gift cards and devotional materials. The supplies for the backpacks need to be returned to the church by Sunday, March 30. If you are writing a check, please write “backpack ministry” in the reminder line and drop it in the Sunday morning offering or leave it at the office. Your gifts and donations are greatly appreciated.

Little Library The Little Library has been refreshed with a few new books that will bring reading pleasure to you in the upcoming spring and summer months. Take a minute to browse and/or bring in a title you’ve enjoyed reading. You may borrow a book for keeps or trade in a book in exchange for another. If you have bundles of books to give away, we encourage you to drop them at Help and Hope at 1638 Park Street in Castle Rock, Monday-Friday between 9am and 12pm or Saturdays from 9am - 2pm.

Refreshing the Church Library: Our church library has a number of books and atlases related to Biblical history and theology as well scrapbooks and archives of our own church history. Most are worth keeping and making available to any church member. We are looking for a few people (and someone to serve as chairperson) to sort through, reorganize the shelves, purge superfluous items, and prepare a one-page overview of the library’s contents. If you are interested in being a part of this project, please sign up at the welcome desk.

“Song of the Shadows” Cantata: On March 30 at 10:45am you are invited to walk with Jesus as He enters Jerusalem to loud Hosannas, prays in the Garden of Gethsemane,  breaks bread with His disciples, stands before Pilate and the Hebrew leaders, bears the cross to Cavalry, and suffers and dies for our sins. A musical blending of voices, piano, flute, and drum intertwined with Scripture, narrative and prayer bring the story of Holy Week to life. Join us in person or on line, and consider share the YouTube link with your family and friends near and far. There is only one service that day, but it will be a powerful one.

Sign Up Sheet at the Welcome Desk in the Church.  A sacred gathering where all generations come together to share in fellowship, grow in faith, and walk the path of discipleship. Rooted in the Lenten journey, we explore how our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness shape our commitment to Christ.
