Our national anxiety...
I offer up this prayer for us all today. It's from This Day, A Wesleyan Way of Prayer:
O Righteous Ruler of the Universe:
We give you thanks for the heritage and hope of our own country,
as people in every place give thanks for their homelands.
When, as a nation, we walk in your way, grant us to continue in your will.
A prayer for my sister, Kelli. She was involved in a hit & run accident this past weekend. No surveillance video evidence has yet been found on the driver who hit her. She's now been told by insurance that her car is totalled. She's a recovering alcoholic with 7 years, but this accident on top of our father's recent passing is really challenging.
